Spring SpEL operator - incorrect syntax

Hello,

I have noticed that IntelliJ IDEA shows me the "incorrect syntax" when I use the SpEL "first matching selection" operator .^[] in the spring xml config file.

I have attached the screenshot with that problem:

Is this a bug or a correct behaviour?

There are no problems with others SpEL operators.
