I have Intellij 13 U and WebSphere 8.5 Full installed on Win7 x64.
I am able to deploy my ears via the WebSphere admin console. But if I try to deploy either my ear or exploded ear via IntelliJ, I get the following error:
[2014-01-07 11:30:58,439] Artifact [ear name]:ear: Server is not connected. Deploy is not available.
Connected to server
[2014-01-07 11:31:47,772] Artifact [ear name]:ear: com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.AdminException: Root cause: com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.AdminException: ADMA0511E: Application [ear name]_ear failed to start. There is no module target specified for the application.
My Intellij run configuration are as follows:
Application Server: WebSphere 8.5
Profile Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01
Cell: [computer name]Node01Cell
Node: [computer name]Node01
Server: Server1
Please advise.
