Hi,
I am beginning to use IntelliJ IDEA 12 and wondered if it is possible to import a FLA based Flash project (created in Flash CS6), so I can begin to edit it in IntelliJ and compile it using the Flex 4.6 SDK? (For a Flash project based only on an AS file, I found a video which I successfully used to import a more basic AS file based project: http://www.wastedpotential.com/using-intellij-idea-for-actionscript-development/ But I have a complex project as described next.)
My more complex project's AS3 is in a few frames, but not an AS file (no Main.AS). The project also has many movieclip objects (images converted to movieclips) in its library and moved on stage, plus a com folder with 3 transform manager AS files. A "messy" project.
Maybe much work would be involved to convert it, re-write scripts, change to AS based, etc., but I would try if I knew what I need to convert, what specific steps to take, what is needed to bring it fully into IntelliJ.
I would very much appreciate any suggestions, leads, tutorials, videos, etc to get started.
Thank you for your help.
Best Wishes,
